Shipping Policy

1. Delivery

Goods shall be delivered to the address specified in the customer’s order as the address for delivery unless otherwise agreed to in writing between the parties. All deliveries should be inspected by the receiver before signing receipt from the transport company. Mermed Enterprises cannot take responsibility for goods damaged in transit after the goods have been signed for as received. If delivery inspection reveals goods damaged in transit, the receiver must refuse delivery of damaged goods.

2. Methods of Delivery

All orders are dispatched by Mermed Enterprises’ choice of carrier. Freight charges will apply as per the current rate. Stainless steel bench work, sinks and other manufactured stainless-steel products are delivered by the installer. Special order items are delivered direct to the department after stores clearance.

3. Time Frames For Orders

The majority of products are courier delivered the next working day if it is a stock item ordered before 12.00 noon. The average supply lead time allowed should be 3 to 5 working days from order.

Note: Even though we pay for a next day delivery we have no control over events and the courier company. We cannot guarantee delivery times as this is dependent on the courier company itself. Where a delivery is deemed urgent, we can arrange deliveries either by taxi at cost or where possible, direct by Mermed Enterprises. Small orders may be Parcel or Express Posted with Australia Post as a cheaper option of delivery. Special print orders will vary depending on the quantity and type of print run. Lead times will be supplied at time of quoting. stainless steel benches, sinks and workstations have a lead time of approximately 8 to 12 weeks. Where a product is constantly turned over by a facility, we will endeavour to maintain a reasonable supply for ex-stock picking to reduce the likelihood of any delays.
